A visionary artist, curator, and community builder, Baby the Poet is the creative force behind Tribes&Vibes. With a deep passion for storytelling and artistic expression, she founded Tribes&Vibes in 2021 to create safe, inclusive spaces where artists of all backgrounds can thrive.
Born from her own experiences as a poet and performer, Baby the Poet has dedicated herself to cultivating a platform that empowers creatives, fosters meaningful connections, and celebrates the magic of live performance. From poetry and music to comedy and dance, she believes in the power of art to unite and transform communities.
Under her leadership, Tribes&Vibes has grown into a movement, hosting dynamic events that highlight emerging and established talent. Whether on stage or behind the scenes, Baby the Poet continues to push the boundaries of creative expression, ensuring that every artist finds their voice, their stage, and their tribe.
How we got started
Tribes&Vibes was born in 2021, emerging as a response to the need for creative spaces following the pandemic. Our journey began in Allentown, PA, and continued with our first show at SteelStacks in Bethlehem, with standout events like Rhymes and Reasons, A Night Out of Town, and The Sweetest Taboo, all of which played a vital role in building an engaged and supportive artistic community.
In addition to our events at SteelStacks, we expanded our reach to the Emmaus Theatre, where we launched Popcorn & Poetry, a unique event blending spoken word with a cinematic experience. With two successful shows at Emmaus Theatre, Popcorn & Poetry became a standout series that deepened our connection with the local arts community.
Over time, we have continued to grow, hosting open mic nights and signature showcases that bring artists and audiences together in unforgettable ways.
With each event, Tribes&Vibes strengthens its commitment to inclusivity, creativity, and empowerment. We are more than just an event series—we are a movement dedicated to cultivating a legacy of connection and artistic excellence.
